Back in October 2015, Repipe has again sponsored two Wollombi local Axemen at the Wollombi Wood chop held at the Wollombi Tavern, Wollombi in the Hunter Valley, NSW. They competed here and Maitland in a bid to reach the major competition at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Young Jack Bailey is an up and coming axemen and Dean Riley a veteran axeman of 20 years, making a comeback to the sport. We wish them all the very best!

The Repipe Group of companies is very pleased to announce the opening of two new branches.
REPIPE CONNECTION NT – We now have a new branch in Darwin to service the Northern Territory, far north WA and far north Queensland. Our Darwin Manager, Craig Whear, has been with Repipe for a number of years and has extensive experience in the pipe, valves and fittings markets.
REPIPE FABRICATION WA – We have also expanded our Fabrication business in WA with a new Fab shop in Perth with Manager Dan Bergin on board. Dan brings to our Fabrication business a long history of experience in Fabrication along with a vast array of qualifications. This has moved our capabilities forward from just fire sprinkler/hydrant fabrication into more high specification pipe fabrication.

Repipe had the opportunity to present their products and services at the Fire Australia Conference and Exhibition 2015; the premier fire protection industry conference, attracting a wide range of representation from businesses, government and fire safety practitioners.
Building on the success of the last conference and exhibition, Fire Australia 2015 once again provided delegates the option of attending multiple streams over the course of two days.With speakers from across Australia and overseas, the organisers ensured all presentations were topical and current, affording attendees across all roles in the fire protection industry additional knowledge and information.
The theme of Fire Australia 2015 focused on getting design concepts and fire protection systems and equipment right from the outset, therefore ensuring these are fit for purpose once installed. This will ensure dependable and cost effective fire protection throughout the life span of the building or infrastructure.
The conference highlighted the issues of product and system certification, evidence of suitability and the various verification methods. It also looked at the technologies we have adopted and will adapt to the Australian market, as well as how we compared with other countries on an international scale for design, testing and certification.

Repipe was recently invited to attend the grand opening of the new Master Plumbers Association Skill Centre in Auburn. Repipe sent a representative of the company out to the opening and afterwards met with the Training Facilities Manager to discuss the products on display, and for use, that were donated to the Centre by Repipe. This included pipe, valves, fittings as well as grooving and cutting machines.
Repipe has once again agreed to donate items to fit-out the training towers which will consist of 8 hydrant valve sets and 8 hose reel sets. This will help to ensure that our future plumbers and sprinkler fitters have the materials available at this training facility to prepare them for when they hit the work force.
